Qualifications: the vice president must be…

  • a natural-born citizen of the United States
  • at least 35 years old
  • a U.S. resident for at least 14 years

To Apply:

  • EASY: Complete this form and upload a video expressing your desire to join this ticket, and explaining why you feel Dave’s platform is important and why you would be a great vice president in a Dave the Planet administration.

OR:

  • Post your video on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram or TikTok, and/or send us your video via wetransfer.com or dropbox (send/share to us)
  • Tag us #davetheplanet #planetfirstveep
  • Notify us by email, with a link to your video and a written statement. We want to be sure we don’t miss your video.
  • Entrants grant us permission to post their application material on our website and YouTube channel, and to include portions of their video in a compilation. 

Winners will be chosen in 2 categories:

  1. People’s Choice
  2. Judge’s Choice

We hope to invite a winner to join the ticket.
 
Join the Conversation – Post a Video Even If You’re Not Qualified:

Contribute to the public conversation even if you don’t wish to apply, or don’t meet one of the qualifications. We’ll still post your video; we just won’t include you on the ballot during voting in August.

We’ll post all submitted videos on a VP search playlist on YouTube, and will post those videos on our website, as they come in.
